A common application for this fitting, often referred to as a "stinger", is for pressure transmitter calibrations. To prepare the transmitter for calibration:
- Remove the vent plug from the pressure transmitter's vent port (also called bleed port)
- Connect the calibration fitting to the vent port, no thread tape required
- Attach a pressure hose to the calibration fitting
For connecting a Beamex 40 bar hose to the calibration fitting, use 8009120 Tube fitting 1/4" OD to Bx G1/8" male.
Beamex tube fittings are compatible with compression fittings such as Swagelok, A-Lok, Gyrolok and Tru-Lok.
